Registry Cleaner Software
This site has been created to help with the selection of a suitable Windows registry cleaner for computers displaying registry repair problems. There are many registry cleaner software products on the market and it can be difficult to sort out good from bad. I currently use Registry Easy as my registry repair program but I have used Registry Fix in the past and regularly re-evaluate all the best registry cleaner programs.
A Bit About Registry Cleaners
I’ve written many articles on the subject of registry cleaners posted on many article sites on the Internet. There seems to be two very opposing views regarding registry cleaners, those who view them as unnecessary and even dangerous, and those who use and promote them. The same can be said of computers with corrupted or missing files required for the correct running of software programs or the operating system. In these cases a registry cleaner is of little value as the system is fundamentally broken. Having said that, I have had many cases where a registry cleaner has saved me a load of work, where I would others wise have been reinstalling software or operating systems unnecessarily.
Free Registry Scanners
There are free registry repair downloads but they are no where near as good as a paid for registry cleaner. The support is not there and the products are not upgraded as often and they do not have the feature or benefits of a paid for registry cleaner. I will not be recommending any free registry cleaners as they are way to limiting, and with more and more fake software out there on the Internet you could be installing Trojan software on to your computer without realising. Preventive Maintenance: Prevent Windows XP Disasters – Backup Your System State Files
Windows XP sometimes crashs and its not uncommon to have experienced a corrupt registry or a missing DLL file, or having a blue screen of death. So its best to be prepared by backing up your system state files on a regular basis. How do I fix computer freezing up?
My computer freezes, usually when I am playing Pogo, and I have to power off and on again. I am unable to move the cursor or anything, and the sound goes crazy like a skipping record. Internet Explorer seems to hang a lot also. I am running XP 2002 and I recently reinstalled the video drivers, otherwise have not downloaded anything. I have AVG anti virus which runs daily. Help?
There a several reasons why your computer is freezing. First question is when was the last time you cleaned your registry. Having a corrupted registry can cause a whole host of errors and problems. Freezing up is one of them. If you have a lot of unnecessary registry keys that are hogging up your computer resources. Your computer is bound to choke. Scan your registry with a good registry cleaner. If you pull up more than 20 errors or duplication, clean your registry.
2. Depending on your RAM specs and your computer usage. This could also be a the issue. Having an insufficient amount of free space does not allow your RAM to function properly. If you are using a lot of RAM by net surfing or other activities without enough empty space your will get freezes. You don’t need to buy new RAM but you should increase your free space by removing unnecessary data and perhaps increasing your virtual memory. The below link will show you how.
3. Spyware could be the culprit, so do a scan and see if your computer is infected.
4. That last area is a hardware drivers. This could be the problem if new hardware has been added to the system. So, the drivers should still be up to date. So try the first two suggestion and see if you can get your computer to stop freezing.

Hey people I was wondering how do you restore Windows XP?
Hello I was wondering how do you restore Windows XP to it’s default settings. Like restore evetything that came when you first bought it. Am I don’t have any CD’s so yeah. I knew how to do this with Windows Vista without a CD but I have no clue how to or if I do I don’t know if its the same way with the Windows Vista.
Go into my computer and see if the manufacturer has created a backup hard drive. If they have you just restart your computer and keep tapping F8 at start and you will get a menu where you can choose to restore windows xp.

The operating system while running your computer has to pick its way through all this excess material. How could I get rid of blue screen every time I start my computer?
Every time I do turn my computer on I get blue screen for short time but no message.I did switch from Avira to AVG because I had to turn on the antivirus manually.The antivirus feature was turned off every time the computer was turned on.I found that very strange,plus i got 16 AdWare Tracking cookies and we think we are protected.I wonder if the so called FREE EDITIONS ever do anything to protect the computer? Thanks.
