Are doing registry fix scans on my computer any good, and if so does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve recently done a registryfix scan on my computer and it said there were a lot of things wrong with my computer. So I wanted to know if I should spend the money to buy the software from the site, or if they are just a waste of money.

If you are not a tech then I strongly recommend you leave your registry alone.

Changing things in the registry, especially en mass with some crapware, is a great way to really mess up your computer.

If you have a specific problem that requires a change to your registry… then you’re far better off finding a reliable and highly qualified tech to handle it… or backing up the registry and very very carefully correcting that one particular issue by itself.

Good Luck

Stay away from those rogue programs. You don’t need a "registry fix" anyway. A waste of good money, PLUS it may install spyware on your computer that is hell to get out. I had to do a complete system recovery to fix a problem similar to what you are describing.
