As a certified PC technician often times when I have encountered this issue, it was power related more times than not. Like a previous commenter said it might be memory related, so check it any way. To doe this..If you have two slots remove one, attempt to boot. Then the other and repeat. If the result are the same there in lies one answer.

If that does not fix the issue have your power supply checked, even the power cord. Most people don’t think to check this but I have found them to be bad. Also make sure no one accidently change the little red voltage selection on the rear.

I am not convinced that there is a software problem with what you have provided, so be careful spending money in that direction at this time. Check out that hardware and depending on the age of your computer never rule out a motherboard going bad.

If you are not computer savy but want to be there is a very inexpensive ebook out called "become a computer expert in 7 days" that might give you some light on troubleshooting your own or business pc.

Have too, I like it OK.
I run it on XP pro and Vista, Have you upgraded to the latest version?
Mine was doing it on my Vista machine and it was just a software incompatibility with Norton that fixed with a version upgrade.
Just My experience. You can also just have ignore it and not fret over it.

You should replace your router. I work at an electric company and that’s a very common problem.
