I own a windows vista home premium. Currently has the blue screen of Death. I have anti virus and pc tools. It said to remove a portable device like a camera or music player. But the question is how do i remove a device from my computer?

I’ve recently purchased a one-year registration for the "Registry Mechanic" registry fix software, and I bought licenses for up to three computers. My problem now is that I can’t figure out how to get the program on the other two. I have the product key, but the prompt when I download the software on the other machines asks for a much shorter code.

If anyone has any ideas on this, I would appreciate it!

Every time I get online and go to websites my C-64 computer freezes and and I have to re-boot it. Any suggestions on what to do about this?

I can’t afford a new computer so that is not an option.

The answer depends on which ethernet hardware solution you are using, and what software you are using? Are you using a TFE cart? 64NIC+? RRNET? Dial up? What browser are you using? "The Wave"? Singular? Contiki?

I’ve had some trouble with Contiki freezing on connection in the past with 64NIC. The problem is usually in the cartridge itself. I would test with other network apps to, and check your switch settings on the side of the cart to make sure you are using RRNET compatibility.

Help i urgently need to restore my computer in the state it was an hour ago how do i do it i had not set any restore points already???can it store according to the time or date???

no you must manually set a point at the time or it happens when you install some programs if your system has a checkpoint usually in the morning do that

Why does my computer go to blue screen when I start it up? But it works in safe mode. How can I fix this? By the way, it runs on Windows XP operating system.

Seems, and only seems that the BSOD you are getting is likely a driver issue.

Iv had this problem once before not sure how I got it working again at that time, but when i turn my computer one is gives me this: " No bootable drive available strike f1 to retry or f2 to setup"
Now yes i am certain the hard drive is plugged in correctly iv tooken it out and plugged it in still not solving my problem.
Not sure how to fix it now.

check ur BIOS setting
set ur BIOS first boot to Hard Disk or if u not see the Hard Disk information in ur BIOS than try to reattach ur hard disk with ur computer

I’m looking for antivirus software that has internet security but doesn’t significantly slow down my computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It doesn’t have to be comprehensive, it could be separate software for antivirus and internet. Thank you.

I’m using windows XP. My computer is running rather slow and I’ve done all the basic cleaning as well as scan disk and defrag and that hasn’t helped much. I’ve never cleaned my registry and I imagine there are quite a few mistakes in there although I don’t know what they are. I’m looking for a good free registry cleaner that will clean it and also fix the errors it finds.

You said you did a disk error check? How do you know your registry needs cleaning? Some malicious people/programs tell you that you need to clean your registry. Do you have spyware protection? If not go to download.com and download Ad-Aware and Spybot, both free and don’t mess with your computer.

Maybe you have too much on your computer and not enough space. Maybe you need to more memory.
