Do those registry fix programs that you buy online fix drive and atapi problems?
I have a sec master driver atapi incomapatibility problem and I’ve lost my cd rom drive. Do those registry fix downloads that cost around forty dollars work on that?
no they wont– the problem you describe is caused by either two brands of drive that dont like each other or due to drive jumpers being incorrectly set. One other possibility is if you have Windows 98 and have put in a drive that was formatted with a newer operating system then you would get the same error msg.
