no they won’t. you’ll just throw your money.
i guarantee you…
check the jumper settings and cmos settings.
to add thecable connectors too.

no they wont– the problem you describe is caused by either two brands of drive that dont like each other or due to drive jumpers being incorrectly set. One other possibility is if you have Windows 98 and have put in a drive that was formatted with a newer operating system then you would get the same error msg.
