Hey people I was wondering how do you restore Windows XP?
Hello I was wondering how do you restore Windows XP to it’s default settings. Like restore evetything that came when you first bought it. Am I don’t have any CD’s so yeah. I knew how to do this with Windows Vista without a CD but I have no clue how to or if I do I don’t know if its the same way with the Windows Vista.

Go into my computer and see if the manufacturer has created a backup hard drive. If they have you just restart your computer and keep tapping F8 at start and you will get a menu where you can choose to restore windows xp.

Check the control panel if that doesn’t work then call dell. The dell number is everywhere on your manual. Ask to restore default settings. hope this helps

You should be able to access a system recovery from the black startup/boot screen (I don’t know the terminology very well). Be aware that it will wipe your hard drive clean of anything you have added since you bought the computer though.
