I right click and click on show picture, but nothing works. Does anybody know what my computer is missing or how to fix?

Your problem is actually not caused by your computer. Your sender has an incorrect setting in the email client – probably Outlook Express.

This bad setting causes Outlook Express to include a link to the picture rather then sending the picture itself. This works when the picture is on a web site.

When you send the email back the sender can see the picture fine because the link is on his computer.

To fix this you will have to get the sender to change a setting in OE. To do this –

1. Launch Outlook Express
2. From the tools menu select Options
3. Click the tab labeled Send
4. Click the upper of two buttons labeled HTML Settings
5. Put a check in the box labeled Send Pictures With Messages
6. Click O.K. and O.K. again

Now you will get pictures instead of Red X’s and the person sending you email will thank you because they have been sending red X’s to everyone on their mail list.
