Thanks for reply, but my pc is even sicker now! I tried to get windows to start up by using the XP disc. Not restore, but the 1st option, and went through the ‘press F8′ thingy, and it began to copy files or something. Then it said that the computer had to restart, which it did. All I can now see is a black screen with ‘safe mode’ in each corner and a message in a box which says something along the lines of windows cannot start or something… dont remember exactly. What a mess!
