Is there a keyboard shortcut to restore windows XP to it’s factory settings?
So, I jsut restored my Vista laptop, but now my mom wants her XP desktop fixed =.=
I tried the F-11, but it does nothing. Are there any other short cuts ??
Her System restore under System tools doesn’t work because her original date was deleted. And we don’t have any tapes.

Laptop manufacturers install a button for the system recovery. As for desktops, i don’t think one exists yet. And for restoring you mom’s Windows XP desktop, you cant. System Restore needs a date to boot back to. This is why it is ALWAYS a good idea to do a system backup every Friday evening and create a System Restore point.
